We just received this amazing chair developed by Stil Novo Design. According to their description, this solid stool is entirely made of recycled white oak wood from French wine barrels. The Emperor Seat is a perfect combination of practicality, comfort and sophistication; it can easily be integrated in any room of the house as a unique and handy piece of home decor. By using the natural arch of a barrel stave we are able to create this particularly attractive silhouette of definite oriental flavor. The top and the sides are stained with the red wine previously held in the barrel and complemented with a rich ‘cherry chocolate’ finish.The Emperor Seat measurements are about 12”X16” (top) and approx. 14” height (each barrel stave is different so the size is approximate).
